I’m Taking My Own Advice!

You won't receive our Academic Balance newsletter this month because I'm practicing what I preach as an academic coach and long-time academic. I'm taking a break for a summer holiday!

Academics are the worst when it comes to vacation time and recharging. I'm not sure why that is because regardless of your title or place in academia, everyone needs to take time away to disconnect, recharge, and renew.

So, if you haven't already done so, schedule time away from your office, do something fun, set up your "Out of office" notice on your email, and go!
